Collection: FilterI believe that art can serve many purposes. When I first began experimenting with painting, I quickly found that art can function as a way to both release, express and work through various life experiences. Although, through the years, I have taken several lengthy breaks from the recurrent subject matter and images depicted in my paintings, I always eventually come back to this, finding myself creating in a different style and making use of a renewed skillset.
This collection of paintings is based on images, feelings, and sounds that I recurrently experience within my mind, as well as sensations I experience within my body. I often have a strong desire to further interact with, reflect upon, and express these experiences in a creative way, which I fulfill artistically. This page contains a sampling of some of my recent small paintings and miniatures, which accurately represent this evolving body of work. |
